Sunday morning the weather played some games just to test the readers’ commitment. At first the skies were clear of any clouds and this after a huge storm late Saturday afternoon – then clouds – thick and fleeting across overhead – fortunately only being mist.

Party Night! There was quite a buzz around this evening as it was the first for 2011. Natasha had meticulously ticket off all the items on the checklist leaving no room for error. Only the members had to arrive. She paste up and down the corridor encouraging any car with occupants to join in the festivities. There were no final checks to be made as she had completed her task to the final tick.

Riding my trusty 1200 SPORTY to the News Café in Boksburg I wondered what my pitch could be for this outride, really don’t need writers block now! Last week was historical - everything just came together – weather, riders, food, friendships and camaraderie – what could top that?
